Lecale Conservation, working with Councillor Cadogan Enright, persuaded Council to include a bi-annual grant for community-led biodiversity grants to restore habitats in 2014.
Since then, we have applied for funding for dozens of bio-diversity grants either ourselves or helping other community organisations to do so.
